Overname UpSight Security door Arctic Wolf Arctic Wolf heeft UpSight Security overgenomen en meldt als reden zo Aurora Endpoint Security te versterken met voorspellende ai. De aangekochte technologie analyseert miljarden endpoint-events in real-time en kan schadelijke acties blokkeren voordat data wordt versleuteld of gestolen. Daarmee worden ransomware-aanvallen sneller geïdentificeerd, hosts geïsoleerd en systemen hersteld. Volgens het eigen Threat Report betrof 44 procent van alle incidentresponsgevallen ransomware of data-afpersing, waarbij in 96 procent ook data werd gestolen. De investering moet de ontwikkeling van Aurora versnellen en organisaties beter beschermen tegen geavanceerde aanvallen. Het security-bedrijf zegt wekelijks meer dan acht biljoen security events te verwerken via het eigen cloud-native platform. Overname NLcom Cloud Solutions door YourCloud Het Maastrichtse NLcom Cloud Solutions is overgenomen door Kreuze, die adviseert en beheert voor meer dan 3.500 klanten en een dochteronderneming is van investeerder YourCloud. De integratie moet de positie van Kreuze in Zuid-Nederland versterken en de continuïteit voor klanten en medewerkers waarborgen, zo melden de bedrijven. NLcom SDS, dat actief is in datagedreven zorgoplossingen, blijft buiten de transactie. De moedermaatschappij telt inmiddels meer dan 32 bedrijven met circa 1.700 medewerkers en een jaaromzet van ruim vierhonderd miljoen euro.
