Five hundred years ago a protest movement, led by brave men and women who loved God and the truth, brought about reforms that would move the church from its drift to traditionalism and human authority back to rediscovering its evangelical roots. That protest movement became known as the Protestant Reformation. The foundation of truth they helped the church rediscover came to be known as the Five Solas. Sola is the Latin word for only or exclusively. These five foundational truths are the bedrock on which evangelical faith is based. Every true follower of Jesus is to know, embrace, live, defend and proclaim these truths.
The Five Solas: Foundational Truth that Defines Our Faith is a six-week study designed to bring every believer back to their theological roots and to foster a deeper knowledge of, and commitment to, the truth that defines our faith and sets people free to live in joyous relationship with God.
