    It has great ideas that anyone can apply i their life even if you don't agree with all of Rand's ideas. This book has opened my eyes to the world and made me more productive.

    Great book. It details why we must fight to keep America the way it is, and avoid the socialist attitude that is taking place now. By going down that path, we are on a path to destruction, by our own hands.

    I was given this book along with the fountainhead in my senior of high school to read and it's been one of the most eye opening books I've ever read. I will proudly pass it on to my kids and hope they have a great understanding about life. I recommend this book along with The Fountainhead to everyone. Just be patient when reading it. It will be worth it.

    With all of the hype that this novel gets, after reading it, all I can think of is that Rand is right in some points, but in others she is just completely ignorant of the world. While I know that this book was written at a different time, it is still undenialbe that during certain arguments that Rand makes, she tries to support them by exclaiming large bouts of dialogue with intricate vocabulary, but in reality, they say absolutely nothing and do not support her argument in any way. I could go on and on about how terrible this book is, but all I can say is this: don’t buy the hype- it’s a perfect example of how capitalism supports idiocy.

    I'm still on book on, and I've been literally on the last chapter. It's such a slow and hard read, but I think if you like political and philosophical fiction with a hint of sci if, you'll love this book.

    I have seen much negativity surrounding this book on the internet. I went into it with an open mind. Yes, there are strong political connotations in it. It is very easy to see why many people opposed to it are so up in arms. In my opinion it is simply a book, and there are other lessons to be leaerned other than just capitalism. It teaches the value of hard work and being proud of that hard work. It teaches that you should not let others steal what you have worked so hard to achieve. Honestly, I don't see why people go so crazy when you bring up this book, but I think it's because they are told what to say about this book by others without ever having read it themselves. I will definitely be reading this again.

    The greatest book ever written! Sometimes too idealist but EXACTLY how man should act, think and deal with all mankind. Describes the world today though it was written 50 years ago. Too bad our leaders can't HEAR it's truth! MAYBE??
