Esta é uma das principais conclusões do estudo “Pobres Managers”, da Factorial, que revela que o excesso de tarefas operacionais continua a ser um dos maiores entraves à liderança nas PME. De acordo com o relatório, 46% do tempo dos gestores é consumido por tarefas manuais que poderiam ser automatizadas. Além disso, sete horas por semana são perdidas em confirmações e verificações de informação dispersa por várias plataformas, o que compromete a tomada de decisões informada. Não surpreende, por isso, que quase metade dos gestores admita já ter visto a sua empresa perder dinheiro devido à falta de dados atualizados. A desorganização interna tem também consequências na execução dos projetos: mais de 40% falham por ausência de estrutura, deixando os gestores presos a um ciclo contínuo de gestão de urgências. Esta dinâmica, explica a Factorial, afasta-os do papel de liderança que as equipas tanto necessitam. O impacto da sobrecarga não fica dentro do escritório. O estudo mostra que 72% dos gestores portugueses sentem o stress refletido na vida pessoal, com horas extra frequentes e não compensadas. Este desgaste compromete a proximidade necessária entre gestores e equipas: 86% afirmam que a carga de trabalho lhes retira tempo para construir relações fortes.
