Rohit Verma is the president and chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors for Crawford & Company®, a leading global provider of claims management and outsourcing solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities. Prior to his role at Crawford, Rohit served as the regional executive for the south region of Zurich North America where he was accountable for profitable growth and market execution. Before joining Zurich, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Rohit led several engagements at McKinsey, which were often cross-functional teams of strategy, finance and IT.  His career has spanned three continents — Europe, Asia and North America, and he has led numerous global teams. In addition, Rohit spent time as a research engineer with 30om Corporation. He holds five patents and has authored several internet standards.

Melanie Hughes is the President of edjuster, a division of Crawford & Company, where she brings over 25 years of experience in the claims industry and 17 years of leadership within edjuster. Her expertise spans residential and commercial property, transport, and liability claims, with a deep understanding of the contents market and a proven record of delivering exceptional results. Based in Ottawa, she plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, strengthening strategic partnerships, and shaping the future trajectory of the organization.

As the global president of Digital Solutions, Ken leads his team with the sole purpose to improve the customer experience by delivering SaaS solutions that leverage technology and automation to the global marketplace. Over the course of his nearly three decades with Crawford, Ken has served in technical and operational management roles including, president of Catastrophe Services, U.S. president of Claims Solutions, CEO of U.S. Property & Casualty and senior vice president of Broadspire Accident & Health, among others. Throughout his career, Ken has focused on early recognition of disruptive process and technology and has driven key initiatives around self-service claim processes, business process improvement and data and analytic initiatives, all efforts that aim to improve the customer experience.

Paul has over 30 years of insurance and loss adjusting experience and is an established major loss specialist including complex UK and international property, business interruption, public and products liability, product recall and cyber risks.

A practiced technical lead and operational project manager for significant market losses including the Buncefield explosion, the 2011 English Riots and major catastrophe events such as the New Zealand Christchurch earthquakes, Paul is currently responsible for Crawford Global Technical Services in International Operations and is also the Global Head of Cyber for Crawford.

Steve is an experienced operational specialist with over a decade of experience at Crawford & Company. He excels at building teams, executing organizational initiatives and surpassing objectives. He leads the Global Technical Services (GTS) group in Eastern Canada, which delivers large and complex claims management services to clients in the region with an emphasis on expertise and technology.

Chris leads insurtech research at CB Insights.

Prior to joining CB Insights, Chris was the Innovation Leader at Argo Group — a specialty insurance company in the property and casualty market.

He graduated from Syracuse University, where he majored in both Information Management & Technology and Supply Chain Management.
