Kenworth was recently honored as a 2025 Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT). This marks the eighth consecutive year that Kenworth has received special recognition from the organization. In addition, Kenworth was named to WIT’s “Elite 30” list, which highlights the most exemplary employers for supporting gender diversity in the transportation industry. WIT is a nonprofit association with a mission to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize the obstacles they face. Companies receiving this honor possess several key characteristics, including corporate cultures that foster gender diversity, competitive compensation and benefits, flexible hours and work requirements, professional development opportunities, and career advancement opportunities. “It’s a priority at Kenworth to create an environment where every employee feels empowered to grow and succeed,” said Jim Walenczak, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president. “We’re proud to provide opportunities that help women thrive in their careers, and it’s an honor to be recognized once again by WIT for our commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within the trucking industry.” Kenworth supports women through engagement and sponsorship in various female-centric industry organizations.
