Les attentes des salariés concernant le versement de leur salaire sont en train de changer. Selon un sondage réalisé par Ipsos pour PayFit, solution de gestion de la paie et des RH pour les TPE/PME, quatre salariés sur dix (39%) se disent intéressés par un versement plus fréquent de leur rémunération. Plus exactement, ils aimeraient être payés en plusieurs fois chaque mois. L'enquête, qui s'appuie sur les réponses de 650 actifs représentatifs de la population française, révèle que 20% des salariés privilégient un versement de leur salaire bi-mensuel , 13% un versement à la demande, et 6% un paiement hebdomadaire. Autre tendance de fond, les jeunes générations se distinguent nettement par leur appétence pour cette flexibilité. Plus de la moitié des 18-34 ans (59%) se disent intéressés par des versements de salaire répartis dans le mois, soit 20 points de plus que l'ensemble des salariés. « Ce chiffre démontre une évolution du rapport à l'argent, notamment chez les jeunes, qui ont parfois l'impression que l'entreprise leur doit de l'argent en étant payé en fin de mois, alors qu'ils doivent faire face à de nombreuses dépenses avant même le versement du salaire , explique Firmin Zocchetto, CEO et co-fondateur de PayFit. Le paiement du salaire en plusieurs fois peut permettre aux salariés de mieux gérer leurs finances, et de leur éviter de coûteux découverts bancaires .» Une illustration des fractures sociales Cette évolution du rapport au salaire illustre aussi des fractures sociales. En effet, les classes socio-professionnelles inférieures sont deux fois plus nombreuses que les CSP+ à souhaiter une évolution dans la fréquence des paiements. « La flexibilité salariale cristallise ainsi un double mouvement : celui d'une génération qui revendique plus de maîtrise, et celui d'une partie des salariés pour qui la souplesse devient une nécessité économique », poursuit Firmin Zocchetto. Rappelons que tous les employés ont la possibilité de demander à leur employeur un acompte sur salaire . Il s'agit d'un versement anticipé d'une partie de votre rémunération qui correspond à un travail déjà effectué au moment de la demande. Votre employeur ne peut pas refuser puisqu'il s'agit d'un droit encadré par le code du travail. D'ailleurs, l'enquête effectuée par Paylib révèle que 29% des 18-34 ans ont déjà demandé un acompte sur salaire à leur employeur, contre 18% pour le reste des salariés. A noter que les deux tiers des demandes sont effectuées par des hommes, qui gagnent en moyenne 500 euros de moins que ceux qui n'en demandent pas. Mais si tous les salariés ont théoriquement la possibilité de demander un acompte sur salaire, cette pratique reste relativement marginale. D'abord, parce que les processus pour le demander sont souvent lourds, surtout dans les grands groupes, avec plusieurs services différents qui peuvent être impliqués (manager, direction des ressources humaines…). Autre frein pour les employés, demander un acompte de salaire reste une démarche qui peut se révéler compliquée à effectuer, en raison du sentiment de gêne, voire de honte qu'elle peut engendrer.
