Recover Launches Fabric Line to Advance Circular Solutions Recover is making the leap from branded fiber company to fabric supplier. This week the Spanish materials science company launched Recover Fabrics, a collection of low-impact fabrics made with Recover’s proprietary recycled cotton fiber. The collection is readily accessible to brands of all sizes. The fabric platform addresses key challenges brands face such as supply chain complexity, certification hurdles and inconsistent quality standards across the industry. Designed for ease and performance, Recover states that the fabrics combine premium feel and durability with measurably lower environmental impact, making it easier for brands to integrate circular materials seamlessly into their collections. “Recover Fabrics is not just another product launch; it’s about helping brands make sustainability the easy choice without compromising on quality,” said Anders Sjöblom, CEO of Recover. “For example, we recently developed a high-end tailored suit with dramatically lower carbon and water use, in a quality built to last for years. That’s the kind of innovation this platform will deliver at scale.” Spanning more than 50 fabrics, ranging from everyday essentials to high-end textiles, the four-part collection demonstrates the versatility of recycled cotton fabrics. Most of the fabrics contain 20-30 percent recycled cotton. Recover Fabrics The Elite Collection, developed in partnership with TMG in Portugal, offers premium woven fabrics designed for overshirts, jackets, and outerwear. The Essential Denim Collection provides fabric option for everyday staples like jeans and jackets. The collection includes 12 denim fabrics with the weights ranging from 9-14 oz. The Core Collection balances quality and cost competitiveness, offering fabrics for jersey, fleece, T-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants made with Recover RCotton recycled cotton. RCotton is a 100 percent pure and unblended recycled cotton fiber. Recover would not disclose which mills are producing the Essential Denim and Core Collections. However, Hindwani said they may work with different partners on the collections. The company is not planning to launch seasonal collections every six months. Rather, Simran Hindwani, Recover’s marketing manager, said a dedicated team will ensure that fabrics are relevant to the needs of brands. “The idea is to simplify and accelerate adoption for brands,” Hindwani said. To further accelerate brands’ transition to more sustainable products, Recover Fabric also offers Recover Blanks, a line of unbranded “pre-designed sustainable essentials” like T-shirts, hoodies, sweaters and joggers manufactured in Bangladesh.
