Há revoluções que chegam de forma silenciosa e a da Inteligência Artificial (IA) é uma delas. Em todo o mundo, esta tecnologia está a redefinir profissões e negócios. Nesta nova era, que tantos ainda olham com inquietação, a IA já permite aos profissionais que escrevam relatórios, analisem dados e respondam a clientes com maior rapidez e personalização. Os líderes mais atentos já perceberam: a IA não veio substituir pessoas, veio ampliar o potencial humano. O mundo mudou e, como em todas as transformações tecnológicas, quem duvida fica a ver os outros avançarem. De acordo com o relatório da Microsoft Work Trend Index, 66% dos líderes empresariais não contratariam alguém sem competências em IA. Estes números mostram que a ferramenta está a tornar-se um verdadeiro critério de seleção e de desempenho. O CEO da Shopify foi ainda mais longe, ao determinar que a empresa não voltará a contratar ninguém sem que antes se confirme que a IA não consegue executar o papel dessa nova pessoa. Apesar disto, há empresas que continuam no ponto zero, sem saberem por onde começar. A IA não se implementa com uma aplicação isolada, mas com uma estratégia gradual que começa no diagnóstico, passa por um caso-piloto e culmina na expansão. O caminho inicia-se com o que é simples e visível. A melhor forma de provar o valor da IA é mostrar retorno: decisões mais rápidas com base em dados, clientes mais satisfeitos e menos tempo gasto em tarefas rotineiras como responder a emails ou compilar relatórios. O segredo não está em grandes planos e sim em testar, medir e aprender. Em Portugal, já existem empresas a automatizar o processamento de documentos, a elaborar relatórios ou a criar respostas automáticas para clientes e fornecedores. Ferramentas como o ChatGPT e o Gemini estão a ser usadas para gerar textos, imagens e vídeos; o Perplexity acelera pesquisas e recolhe informação de forma fiável; o Claude apoia na escrita e programação; e o Gamma cria sites, apresentações e relatórios em minutos. São exemplos de como a IA já está a transformar a produtividade e a reduzir tarefas repetitivas em múltiplos setores. No entanto, os negócios conseguem escalar quando criam automações que ligam várias aplicações e agentes de IA. Apesar de todas estas oportunidades, muitas vezes a custo zero, o medo de ser substituído continua a ser um travão invisível. Líderes que compreendem o verdadeiro valor da IA sabem que o desafio não é tecnológico, é humano. As empresas que capacitam as suas equipas para usarem esta ferramenta não só aumentam a produtividade, como atraem e retêm talento. Quando o trabalho passa a ter mais significado e menos repetição, os profissionais, sobretudo os mais jovens, tendem a permanecer mais tempo na empresa.
