Belgian software and mobility services company Sofico welcomes Wim De Bruyne as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Clive Brett as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The previous CEO Gémar Hompes and previous CTO Piet Maes, also a co-founder of the company, are stepping down from those roles and joining Sofico’s Board of Directors. Wim De Bruyne, who was attracted by Sofico’s expertise and passion, is proud to join the company as its new CEO: “From my very first encounters, I felt a match with Sofico’s culture and people. And as a Belgian, I’m proud to lead Sofico in supporting our customers’ global growth.” Mr. De Bruyne’s objectives in his new role include: continuing to strengthen the company’s services, expanding into more segments, and grabbing more opportunities to implement AI and other innovative solutions. Clive Brett felt compelled to join Sofico for the dedication exhibited by its employees, and their focus on customer service. Mr. Brett’s extensive background in B2B SaaS, as well as the founding of his company BB-IT Solutions, sets him up for success as Sofico’s new CTO. “I look forward to working closely with customers and teams across the business to continue driving the product suite forward,” he said.
