OpenWeb Announces Digital Ad Veteran Ali Mirian as SVP of Product

Oct 16, 2025

OpenWeb Announces Digital Ad Veteran Ali Mirian as SVP of Product Comments Off on OpenWeb Announces Digital Ad Veteran Ali Mirian as SVP of Product Mirian joins to accelerate the product innovation roadmap as publishers double down on engagement and loyalty OpenWeb, the premium community engagement platform, today announced the appointment of Ali Mirian as Senior Vice President of Product. With over 20 years of leadership experience spanning digital advertising, ad tech, and product innovation, Mirian will lead OpenWeb’s next wave of product development and growth as the company prepares to launch new solutions that further empower publishers to build thriving, healthy communities on the open internet. Mirian’s appointment marks a pivotal moment as OpenWeb ushers in a new era of publisher communities, introducing cutting-edge experiences that unite engagement, monetization, and social interaction. In this role, Mirian will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of an expanded product suite as OpenWeb ramps up its innovation pipeline with multiple new products and features planned for release over the next six to twelve months. This next chapter aims to elevate how publishers, advertisers, and community members connect, creating deeper value and participation across the open internet. “Ali is a proven product leader who has spent his career building technology that connects people and drives business growth,” said Jim Daily, CEO of OpenWeb. “His deep expertise in digital advertising and product innovation—combined with his passion for creating a healthier internet—makes him the ideal leader to accelerate our mission of fostering meaningful online conversations and helping publishers thrive in the open web.” Mirian brings extensive experience building and scaling product organizations across the digital ecosystem. He most recently served as Head of Product at Inmar Intelligence, where he led product development for loyalty technology and retail media platforms that power programs for major national retailers. Prior to Inmar, Mirian was Chief Product Officer at Collective Bias, an influencer marketing platform where he tripled the business under his product leadership, growing to a network of 40,000 influencers before the company’s acquisition by Inmar. Earlier in his career, Mirian held senior product and technology leadership roles at IAC, where he oversaw advertising products across premier properties including Ticketmaster, The Daily Beast, Evite, Citysearch, and Match.com. He began his career at 24/7 Real Media, where as Head of Product for ad serving and targeting, he helped build what became the second-largest ad server behind Google DoubleClick. A champion of using technology for social good, Mirian also founded Chiefgood.org, a nonprofit platform that connects charities with creative professionals who donate their expertise to create impactful advertising campaigns, which are then distributed across premium websites offering donated ad space. “Publishers are at an inflection point where success is no longer just about driving traffic, but creating engagement, building loyalty, and fostering communities that deliver real value for both audiences and advertisers. OpenWeb’s mission to create a healthier, more open internet resonates deeply with me,” said Ali Mirian. “I’m excited to join this talented team to build product solutions that help publishers create thousands of flourishing communities, rather than ceding control to walled gardens. Together, we’ll unlock new value for the entire ecosystem.” In his new role reporting directly to CEO Jim Daily, Mirian will focus on building a product flywheel where meaningful conversations drive audience loyalty and stickiness, which in turn creates greater value for advertisers seeking to engage with highly engaged communities.
