Der Versuch, das Portfolio im Wert von rund 20 Milliarden Dollar an den deutschen Versicherungskonsolidierer Viridium Holding zu verkaufen, war Anfang 2024 gescheitert. «Wir sind weiterhin strategisch an einem Verkauf des Bestands interessiert und prüfen derzeit verschiedene Optionen und führen Gespräche mit einer Reihe von Akteuren», sagte Cordioli am Donnerstag in einem Interview mit dem Sender. Der erste Versuch war gescheitert, nachdem sich Viridium aufgrund von Problemen im Zusammenhang mit seiner Eigentümerstruktur aus dem Geschäft zurückgezogen hatte. «Es gibt andere Akteure, die ebenfalls grosses Interesse am Portfolio von Zurich haben», sagte nun Cordioli.
