Hogares inteligentes reciben una media de 29 ciberataques diarios a escala global en 2025 09/11/2025 (Global) Los hogares inteligentes y conectados reciben una media de 29 ciberataques diarios. Esta es la cifra que ha sido publicada en el último informe conjunto de Bitdefender y Netgear en el cual se han analizado datos de más de 6 millones de hogares en todo el mundo, este 2025. No obstante, el resultado de la media de ataques es significativamente superior a la del mismo periodo de 2024, cuando se reportó una media de 10 diarios. En este sentido Jaume R. Palau, fundador de cdmon, explica que “la consciencia sobre la ciberseguridad ya no es solamente para las páginas web. Tenemos que ser conscientes de que cualquier dispositivo que esté conectado a la red Wi-Fi es susceptible de ataque. Observar cómo se han triplicado este tipo de casos es alarmante y es la prueba definitiva de que necesitamos mantener esta seguridad a raya“. Estos son los dispositivos domésticos IoT más atacados En el estudio elaborado, además, se ha observado que la media de dispositivos conectados que se tiene en una casa es de 22. Y dentro de esta cifra se pueden encontrar aparatos destinados para muchos usos. Sin embargo, dentro de la inmensa variedad que se encuentra en el mercado, el informe de ciberseguridad señala a los enchufes inteligentes, los sistemas de almacenamiento en la nube doméstico –NAS–, cámaras de vigilancia IP, televisores inteligentes, dispositivos de streaming y routers. “No se trata de que ahora todo el mundo se deshaga de este tipo de dispositivos. Un gesto tan sencillo como controlar las credenciales de acceso, no repetir contraseñas y saber en todo momento quién tiene acceso al control de estos dispositivos es la base de la buena seguridad, ya no en internet, sino en nuestras propias casas. Internet ha dejado de ser el lugar al que accedemos con el ordenador: ahora es el sitio en el que nos vamos a dormir, porque incluso está presente en nuestras habitaciones, y sin que nos demos cuenta“, explica David Blanch. Recomienda tomar mediadas “lo antes posible” para prevenir estos ataques Ante este escenario, desde cdmon se hace una llamada a tomar medidas sencillas, y que todo el mundo puede aplicar en sus casas. ¿Cómo se pueden prevenir este tipo de ataques? “Aunque no nos demos cuenta de que nos haya pasado nada, hay que prevenir lo antes posible“, afirma Blanch. Recopilar en un documento –a ser posible, en físico– todos los dispositivos conectados que se tienen en el hogar. Revisar los correos electrónicos que se tienen asociados a las cuentas con las que se inicia sesión para acceder a las interfaces de control y a los contenidos. Revisar las contraseñas que tenemos en cada cuenta y cambiarlas si es fácilmente vulnerable o hace mucho tiempo que está configurada. “Si vemos que alguna de estas contraseñas está repetida, con más razón hay que modificarla“, explica Blanch. “Si tenemos cámaras de seguridad IP instaladas, una recomendación es colocarlas en puntos sensibles de la casa como sean las entradas o salidas y en las ventanas. En el interior, no hay que tenerlas en lugares de intimidad, ya que una excesiva preocupación por la seguridad de que nos entren a robar puede volverse en nuestra contra“, concluye Blanch.
